We are looking for innovative digital solutions which help deliver greater value to our customers and consumers, and strengthen our collaboration with our suppliers. If you have what it takes to think out of the box and generate concrete and practical ideas, we want you!

Challenge - Digital Collaborations

Topic 1: Digital Collaborations

In today’s business environment, buyer-supplier relationships are increasingly collaborative rather than transactional. As Henkel has huge supply chains, digital collaborations with our supplier base become even more essential. Such collaborations enhance our ability to continue producing quality products and exceed our customers’ expectations.

Required: Identify new models to partner with our suppliers and invent innovative digital solutions for us to strengthen our collaboration with them. Prepare a proposal outlining solutions and implementations, alongside financial estimations. Finalists will be asked to present mock-ups or prototypes during the finals.

Challenge - B2C Customized Solutions

Topic 2: B2C Customized Solutions

In the beauty care market, consumers increasingly look for customized products suited to their haircare needs. How can we assess the needs of our consumers through digital channels and physical stores, and provide customized solutions to them?

Required: Prepare a proposal which contains ways which we can obtain data, alongside proposed solutions. The recommended solutions provided should provide concrete implementation steps and expected outcomes. Finalists will be asked to present mock-ups or prototypes during the finals.

Challenge - B2B Social Media

Topic 3: B2B Social Media

In Henkel, social media is often used to understand our consumers’ needs and drive business to consumer (B2C) sales. However, in business to business (B2B) sales, social media is often neglected, resulting in approaches that are usually reactive and lack a human touch. As such, Henkel seeks to build a social media strategy with our business partners.

Required: Develop a strategy which allows Henkel to draw insights from social media channels and, in turn, deliver greater value to our B2B customers. The proposal must include studies on specific market sectors, the impact of our products on end customers’ experiences, and how to drive these discussions on social media. Finalists will be asked to present mock-ups or prototypes during the finals.

Prizes and Opportunities

One winner walks away with a cash prize of SGD$5000. No equity is taken.
